Be Present

Be Present: to be focused on the moment at hand; to be engaged in what is going on now and not worrying about the future or focusing on the past.

🌸 I've been guilty of dwelling on past regrets instead of forgiveness, or fear of the future instead of hope. It's a downhill battle that drags my mind through imaginary scenarios of "what ifs." It's comparable to living with a critical taskmaster who only glorifies my issues and faults. But why not use my imagination for positivity? Instead of conjuring up the worst situations, why not imagine the best situations that can possibly happen. 🌸

🌸 "Live in the now" and "focus on today" must become the new presets for my mind. When I habitually live on auto-pilot and propose to start living when our breakthroughs happen, I consequently miss out on appreciating all of the blessings God has given to me today. It's me choosing to be happy in my present circumstance and making the best of them. What are your presets and where is your focus? 🌸
